The Information and Communications Technology Organization of Arak Municipality has launched and trained the maintenance and repair module in the Freight and Passenger Transport Management Organization.

According to the Municipality’s Department of Communications and International Affairs, Abolfazl Asgari said in this regard: Since Arak Municipality is recognized as one of the key and influential institutions in the management and development of urban infrastructure, this organization has a diverse and extensive set of machinery and equipment in various fields such as public transportation and road construction.

He added: The large volume of this equipment, which includes various types of heavy machinery, public vehicles, and construction equipment, greatly increases the need for their timely maintenance and repair. Therefore, in line with improving productivity and the quality of public services, as well as enhancing safety in municipal operations, the launch of maintenance and repair management software (CMMS) is recognized as a vital tool for optimizing the maintenance and repair processes of Arak Municipality’s transportation and road construction machinery.

Asgari added: This software helps managers and technicians effectively and systematically plan, monitor, and track the status of equipment and machinery, and by collecting accurate data and analyzing equipment performance, it enables the identification of problems before serious breakdowns occur. This not only reduces costs and unplanned downtime, but also increases the organization’s overall productivity.

The head of Arak Municipality’s Information and Communications Technology Organization said in conclusion: Using the module enables Arak Municipality to manage its resources with greater accuracy and take steps toward improving the level of services provided to citizens.
