According to the report of the Communications and International Affairs Department of Arak Municipality, Abdollahi Far, the Deputy of Urban Services of Arak Metropolis Municipality, announced the continuous holding of winter headquarters meetings and said: This headquarters is formed with the aim of preventing disruption in traffic, reducing potential accidents, and supporting service activities in the cold season, and includes actions such as preparing snow removal machinery, securing salt and sand reserves, training operational forces, monitoring critical points, and planning for rapid response in times of crisis. He pointed out the activities of this headquarters and said: Winter headquarters meetings have started regularly since the end of summer, and so far several specialized meetings have been held among the managers of the regions, managers of municipal organizations, and related sectors. Abdollahi Far continued: To secure the necessary items, a sufficient amount of salt and sand has been purchased and stored, and all regional warehouses have been equipped. Also, for the first time in the country, a mechanized salt packaging device has been purchased by Arak Municipality, which enables the production of regular and standard salt packages. These packages will be placed in special boxes throughout the city so that in times of rain, frost, and urgent need, citizens and urban service forces can use them. The Deputy of Urban Services announced in the final part of his speech that the winter headquarters drill will be held next week. The aim of this drill is to assess the readiness of the forces, test the equipment practically, and measure coordination between regions and municipal organizations. In this drill, a complete fleet of winter machinery will include: 12 loaders, 2 excavators, 2 chain shovels, 18 bobcats, 7 graders, 13 mechanized salt spreaders, 18 double-axle dump trucks, and 24 single-axle dump trucks. Abdollahi Far said: Conducting this drill helps us to address potential weaknesses before the onset of precipitation and ensures that all forces and vehicles enter the winter season with maximum readiness.
