The meeting of the Association of Mayors of Iran's metropolises, attended by the mayor of Arak and a number of mayors of metropolises, was held in the historic city of Yazd, during which important programs and achievements in the field of urban management were shared. According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Municipality, during this meeting, key and practical topics regarding the development of intercity cooperation and the transfer of successful urban management experiences were مطرح and reviewed. One of the most important axes of this meeting wasthe report of the mayor of Tehran on the "Zero Inflation" plan, for which a comprehensive report on the "Zero Inflation" initiative and its control mechanisms was presented by the mayor of Tehran. At this meeting, mayors and senior managers of metropolises discussed and exchanged views on the implementation patterns and models of this plan and its potential for localization in other cities of the country. Alireza Mahmoudi, the mayor of Arak, explained the capacities and upcoming programs at this meeting and invited all mayors of the country's metropolises to attend the special programs of "Arak Cultural Week". It is worth noting that at the end of this meeting, as a memento and in line with introducing the rich culture and history of the land of the sun, the book of Amir Kabir's poems along with the special Arak Week statue were presented to the mayors and managers present at the association.
