Message from Alireza Mahmoudi, Mayor of the metropolis of Arak, on the occasion of November 4

The thirteenth of Aban in the glorious calendar of Islamic Iran recalls the convergence of three fateful events and is a manifestation of the bond between faith, insight, and the epic-making spirit of a generation that has stepped into the arena of action and turned anti-imperialism into a symbol of steadfastness and national dignity. This great day is more than anything associated with the freshness of the name of the student, a generation full of enthusiasm, greatness, and hope for a bright future for our dear homeland. The land of Arak, the capital of eminent figures and the birthplace of great men such as Amir Kabir, Qa'em-Maqam Farahani, and the cradle of thinkers and valiant commanders, is proud of the virtue and zeal of those whom history honors. The intelligent, hardworking, and discerning students of Arak today are the true heirs of this school of thought, knowledge, and social responsibility. Undoubtedly, the vitality, deep insight, and high motivation of the youth of this ancient industrial and cultural city are the most valuable asset and support for realizing a dynamic, modern, prosperous city full of social vitality. The urban management of Arak believes that sustainable development and all-round progress of the city will not be achieved except in the shadow of the presence, synergy, and use of the innovative creativity of teenagers and students. For this reason, improving educational, cultural, and sports infrastructure and developing the grounds for social vitality for the dynamic student community has always been among the most important priorities of your servants at the Arak Municipality. I sincerely congratulate and felicitate all the noble, insightful students and future-makers of Arak, as well as the hardworking teachers and educators of our city, on the arrival of the thirteenth of Aban, the National Day of Struggle against Global Arrogance and especially Student Day. It is hoped that the brave teenagers of our city, under the shadow of divine grace, will always take firm steps toward the prosperity of the Islamic homeland and the progress of dear Arak with the weapons of knowledge, commitment, and innovation.
