According to the Department of Communications and International Affairs of the Municipality of Arak, in order to increase the safety of citizens' traffic and improve traffic signs and signals, extensive measures have been carried out in various parts of the city. In this operation, two pedestrian crossing signs were reinstalled on the median strip of Khoram Street, and two new pedestrian crossing signs were installed in front of Haj Iraqchi Elementary School. Also, in the Mosalla area, on Aqanordin Boulevard, two pedestrian crossing signs and one chevron sign were restored and installed. In the following step, another chevron sign was also reinstalled at the Mosalla U-turn on Salman Farsi Boulevard. The one-way sign on Ashura Street, which needed repair, was replaced and reinstalled. At the Hepco U-turn, a chevron sign with a median strip was also reinstalled. Other important measures carried out included removing guards and safety bollards in front of the municipality and reinstalling the required equipment. Also, with the start of the new school year, pedestrian crossing marking operations were carried out around schools located on Al-Mahdi, Behdari, and Maskan streets so that students could move more safely. These measures were carried out with the aim of improving urban safety, facilitating pedestrian movement, and reducing driving hazards.
